Student Directory

The student directory is still available all summer. The password is on your PTO refrigerator magnet, or you can contact us to ask for it.

2014-2015 Classes

We get class lists at Popsicle Pop-In just like everyone else, so over the summer and at the beginning of the year remember to look in last year’s classes (or search for students by name).

Yearbook Pictures

We’re hard at work putting together this year’s Fall River yearbook, and we can’t do it without your help.

Have you taken pictures at any Fall River events? Halloween? Fall Cleanup Day? Field trips? Ordinary days in the classroom? Send them to us!

Deliver your pictures to the front office or upload them right here:

King Soopers & Safeway Fundraising Cards

Last year we earned nearly $8,500 from our King Soopers Fundraising Card program. This year, we’re delighted to also partner with Safeway!

For both stores you can buy a $5 gift card for $5, reload your card as often as you want with more money, and then use it to pay for groceries and gas. King Soopers and Safeway will each donate 5% of everything you spend there directly to Fall River PTO!

Amendment 66

Voters this year have the opportunity to vote for more education funding in Colorado through Amendment 66.

Fall River is lucky enough to be in a district that approved local funding for education last year through property taxes, and we’ve already seen the effects of that new funding this year. Amendment 66 will provide funding to schools throughout Colorado.

Why do we always see these funding initiatives on ballots every year? Grassroots St. Vrain has a five minute video that answers that very question:

Safeway Cards

Last year we earned nearly $8,500 from our King Soopers Fundraising Card program. This year, we’re delighted to also partner with Safeway!

If you’re a Safeway shopper, purchase a special fundraising gift card from us. You pay $5 for a $5 gift card, and then you can add money whenever you want. Safeway will donate 5% of everything you spend directly to Fall River — as long as you pay with your fundraising card.

Welcome Back!

Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! Fall River PTO already has some great plans. We’ll be running our Fox Trot fundraiser in September, our Fall River Carnival in May, and dozens of other wonderful programs and events in between. We depend on your participation to make it all possible, so we hope to see you a lot this year!

Here are the three things you need to know right away:

Freddy’s Night

Let’s celebrate the start of the new year together with some steakburgers and frozen custard. Join us at Freddy’s (23rd and Main) next week! We’ll eat delicious food (perhaps a “Dirt N’ Worms” sundae?), meet other Fall River families, and maybe even run into some long-lost best friends from last year.

Freddy’s has generously offered to donate 20% of everything we spend that night right back to our school. Invite friends, family, and neighbors to come too — everyone with a flyer will count as a Fall River visitor.

Update your information!

First, find yourself in the directory. You’ll find the password on the magnets and letters distributed at Popsicle Pop-In. (Get in touch with us if you don’t have it anywhere.) For now, this still shows last year’s classes. Once class lists are released Tuesday night, we’ll be hard at work updating those lists online.

If your information is missing or out of date, submit new contact information.

PTO Meeting

We meet every month to plan upcoming events and discuss how we can best support our school. We want to see you there! Share your opinions on how Fox Trot should work, propose your big idea for a new event, or just listen quietly for a volunteer opportunity that interests you.

Everyone with children at our school is already a member of Fall River PTO. If you’ve never been to a meeting before, give it a try! It’s fun, we’re friendly, and we always have free childcare. Your participation really can help us make this year a great one.

October Meeting

The agenda for our October meeting is available. This is the meeting where we’ll approve our 2012-2013 budget, so it’s definitely not one to miss! We’ll be meeting right after school (at 3:30) in the Fall River library.

Child care is available for preschool children and older.
